REBATE

We want to help you get rid of single-use plastic and enjoy the benefits of MNimizing. So, we’re offering up to $1,000 toward eligible expenses to reduce single-use plastic.

Funding for the MNimize Rebate is generously provided by Hennepin County, the Minnesota Waste Wise Foundation, and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.

Testimonial

“Switching to metal and reusable plastic trays has allowed us to cut costs on wasteful products that fill our trash. We are already seeing the pros of having made this switch!”

-Sergio Manancero, Owner of La Doña Cerveceria

La Doña Cerveceria used the MNimize Rebate to replace their poly-lined food trays with reusable trays. They are on track to reduce 53,000 single-use plastic items annually through this change!

Here’s How it Works:

CONNECT

When you reach out to MNimize, our team will follow up to schedule a visit onsite to establish your baseline plastic usage and identify reduction opportunities. This could include recommendations for taking advantage of the MNimize Rebate.

SELECT YOUR SWAPS

Once you decide on the items you’d like to swap, we will send you our rebate application and walk you through the application process. MNimize can also help do the research on reusable or certified compostable alternatives, offering several options at various price points.

GET THAT MONEY

After you send us the application, a current W9, and a link or quote for the item you propose to purchase, we’ll follow up with our approval. You can let us know whether you’d like to purchase the items yourself and receive a rebate check OR if you’d like us to make the purchase on your behalf.

MAKE A CHANGE

We can even visit after your new items have been delivered to set them up so they’re ready for use!

CELEBRATE

After your items have been in use for some time, we’ll follow up to check in on how things are going, estimate the impact of your swap, and promote your achievement.
